Efficient acid gas removal under wet conditions at low temperature and the collection of a dry end product are obtained in the Spray Dryer Absorption (SDA) process, hereby combining the best of the Wet And Dry processes in a simple concept, which, also has shown high removal of trace elements in vapour phase.

Advantages of SDA process have resulted in this process being specified for a majority of new incinerator applications and in many retrofit situations.
